Shannon Kita graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sport Management. After graduating from Loyola, Shannon started graduate school and received her MBA from Ferris State University in 2010. Playing competitive softball most of her life, Shannon was also a member of the softball team while at Loyola and Ferris State.
Upon graduating from Ferris State, Shannon began working for a small regional company selling shoes. After a year of outside sales and living out of a suitcase, she made a connection on a flight home from Dallas with a former Acquirent executive and the rest is ACQ history. Working as an inside sales rep at Acquirent, Shannon fine-tuned her sales skills, expanded her knowledge of CRM and created dynamic relationships with her colleagues. In Janurary 2016 Shannon began her new title of Sales Manager.
In her free time, Shannon likes to visit her parents as well as her brother, sister-in-law and two nieces in Grand Rapids, Michigan and her sister in Tampa, Florida. She also continues to be involved with the sport of softball by coaching at the local high school and within the community. She hasn’t hung up her cleats yet as she continues to play competitive fastpitch during the summer.
Currently, Shannon lives with her husband David and their Siberian Husky Zoey in beautiful Evanston, Illinois
