If you are looking to get more sales appointments – it might be time to turn to an outsourced sales and marketing company, and inquire about inside sales representatives. If sales help is what you are looking for, why not turn to the people who know it best?

Inside sales often gets a bad rap for being somehow “less” than outsides sales, but nothing could be further from the truth. The bottom line is – an excellent inside sales person could be worth 5 “good” outside sales reps. And cost you a mere fraction of the resources. No cars, no blackberry’s…no gas miles and mysterious lunch receipts…

By turning to inside sales with a reputable outsourced sales and marketing company- you will, most certainly, get more “bang for your buck” when it comes to setting appointments. “Feet on the Street” are limited by traffic, geography and weather…whereas inside sales people can set sales appointments anytime, anywhere – all they need is a call list and a phone.

At Acquirent, we have an excellent inside training program that ensures you will get the most from your telesales phone appointments. Where your outside sales representatives might set 1 appointment in a day – we could set 5. The proficiency of the phone combined with a compelling, assertive and persistent sales representative will be the most likely combo to increase sales appointments.

Outsourced sales and marketing companies are becoming more and more relevant and economical in this changing economy and world. If you are looking for sales help and looking to increase your sales appointments – turning to an outsourced sales and marketing company with a focus on inside sales might be just what you need.

Happy Selling!

For the past ten years I have owned and operated a business that has enjoyed a lot of success. I take pride in my company and in the products that we produce. And for the most part, the staff that I employ has always worked hard to make sure that my company is successful. Unfortunately though, a few months ago we started to hit a rough patch. My sales team seemed to be struggling and I was concerned that the lower volume of sales was going to have a negative impact on the entire business. The last thing that I wanted was for some type of snowball effect to take place where my entire staff was on edge. I decided to go to the root of the problem, my sales staff.

I knew that I needed to address this issue before it became a huge problem. I sat down and had a meeting with my sales staff. They explained to me that they were having a difficult time with setting sales appointments. The staff that was responsible for setting up these sales appointments had hit a dead end in coming up with new prospects to call and then they had started to scramble to set up appointments with anyone they could. These appointments made out of desperation have thus in turn lead to my sales people going out chasing dead leads and causing them to be both angry and frustrated. I knew that this problem had the making for a disaster so I decided to see what my options were.

I searched online for sales appointments. I looked for helpful tips. In my search I was directed to several sales outsourcing companies. I was very surprised to find that there were companies out there that could take care of your business’s appointment setting needs. I was also very skeptical though, how could a business that was entirely independent of my own know where to look for potential clients? I decided to call up one of these companies and give them a try on a short-term basis to see what kind of results I could expect. I was completely blown away. The outsourcing company furnished my sales staff a comprehensive list of solid appointments that were already set up. I could not have been more impressed and will continue to rely upon their services.

Setting up high quality sales appointments can be difficult if you do not have access to adequate resources. Most sales executives will concede that setting up appointments is their least favorite task. In fact, many of them detest it. If you are forcing your sales execs to procure their own leads, you are taking a gamble. Many of them may quit. The sales industry is quite competitive and if the have the option of becoming part of a company that provides them with the leads, they will certainly choose the less stressful position. Many businesses employ the services of an outsourcing company to take care of all of their appointment setting needs.

A sales professional needs to be fully utilized in doing what they do best. If they are excellent closers, then it is futile to have them sitting at a desk all day setting up sales appointments. If you have sales pros that are best at selling over the phone, then that is what they should be doing. As a business owner you will be faced with many challenges when it comes to running your business. You will need to be able to see employee’s strengths and weaknesses and use your observations to your advantage. If you see an employee excel where another is failing, then figure out a way to make both parties do what they do best.

Therefore, if you see that you have sales professionals that struggle with setting up sales appointments, don’t waste their time and your resources charging them with that duty. Instead, make the necessary changes so that you can either have staff that specializes in setting up appointments, or look into hiring an outsourcing company to set your sales appointments for you. Outsourcing companies have teams of specialists that have experience in setting up quality appointments for your sales team to go out on.

When your business is having problems with setting up appointments, it is your responsibility to actively be a part of the solution. Evaluate the resources that you have and see if you can manage a way to assign certain sales people to appointment setting duties, or find an outsourcing company that can provide you with quality appointment setting services. Your resources will be put to much better use and your sales executives will be much happier when they are allowed to focus all of their time and energy on doing what they do best.

Is your sales staff having sales appointment setting issues? Are your sales pros coming back from appointments that were incredibly disappointing and entirely unproductive? Are they complaining that the sales calls that they are being sent out on are nothing but dead ends? There is nothing that is more wasteful than hiring top-notch sales executives and then sending them out on dead appointments. It is a waste of their talents and time. Before you lose your best sales performers to another company, make some improvements to update your appointment setting techniques.

A good sales professional will tell you that they would rather only have one solid sales appointment set up on a day than to be sent out on ten dead leads. Not only does it use up more time and resources to drive to ten different locations and meet with ten different people, but ten unproductive sales appointments can be a real blow to the ego. Sales professionals need to be confident in themselves and what they are selling in order to deliver the top results. Sending your sales professionals out on dead leads is counterproductive.

There is a huge difference between a lead and a good lead. A sales appointment that is made without any foreknowledge of the company is not a good lead. For a lead to be good you will need to have a contact’s name that is in charge of purchasing, their direct phone line, and information regarding the company. A skilled sales professional will take this information and use it to their advantage when delivering his or her sales pitch. This information makes a huge difference when it comes to sales. When sales people are sent out on blind leads they lose the upper hand and their ability to make their products and services appeal directly to the person that they are meeting with.

Don’t waste your sales executive’s time by sending them out on dead leads. Instead, focus on ways that you can improve the quality of the leads that your sales staff is generating. If that means that you need to seek out outside help, then you need to do so. Find a service provider that will generate high quality leads for your business. Before you start loosing your top sales professionals, implement some changes that will improve the quality of the leads that they are following.

Sales professionals know that getting high quality b2b sales leads is no easy task. There are a number of complications that can arise when attempting to produce solid leads. These various complications counter most efforts to increase sales and to grow your business. Why waste your time and resources on dead ends? You can find alternatives to your methods for getting b2b sales leads if you are willing to pay for the professional services of an outsourcing company.

If you have relied upon your tried and true methods of getting new leads for you business for a long time, you may be starting to realize that your old methods are failing you. The truth is that these methods have become obsolete given the advancements in modern technology and the competitiveness of today’s market. Working off of referrals and from general contact databases that do not screen their clientele will get you nowhere fast. Referrals that have been handed over from previous clients usually fail because they can not put you directly in touch with the right contact. When it comes to generating solid b2b sales leads, if you can’t get the right person on the phone you are better off not even wasting your time. There is no point in calling a secretary several times a day that is obviously screening someone’s calls.

You need the direct number to potential business clients that are interested in hearing about your company and that have the authority to make purchases. Everything else is merely wasting your sales team’s resources and time. Even if you have generated a list of potential clients to get in contact with, how long is your list? You need to be consistently producing potential new clients if you want your business to grow.

A sales outsourcing company can provide you with the services that your business needs to stay ahead of your competition. If you enlist their help, their professional team of sales experts will delve into your specific market and come up with lists of solid business leads. These leads will get you the sales that you are looking for. You can retain the services of the outsourcing provider for an indefinite amount of time, or use them whenever you are looking to boost your sales. Their services are affordable will help your business to produce more sales.

There are an abundance of sales tips out there, how do you discern the ones that will work from the ones that are ineffective? Being a sales manager in these economic times can be a difficult job, however, you are responsible for leading your sales tem through this trying time and coming up with innovative sales strategies that will help your company make it through. It is your duty to find sales tips that will successfully bring about new sales and effectively keep your business out of the red.

The best place to look for sales tips is the internet. But for every good tip that is on the web, there are at least ten bad ones. If you are planning on relying upon the internet to find useful sales tips, you will have to learn how to sort out the good tips from the bad ones. You can accomplish this by evaluating the credibility of the site and the source. If it is a random posting you may not want to take it as seriously as you would from a business that specializes in sales outsourcing. You will also have to take your specific business into account because generic tips may not apply to the type of business that you do. While some of these types of tips may be general enough that they can have a small impact on your sales, chances are that generic tips will not have a significant impact upon your sales.

If you are willing to pay money for some useful tips you can turn to a reliable sales outsourcer for assistance. They will be able to give you sales tips that are based upon the specific type of business that you do pertaining to the markets that you are trying to reach. Theses types of tips will be most helpful and will really get you the sales results that you desire.

A sales manager has a responsibility to his sales team and to the company that he or she works for. Sometimes you may have to turn to outside resources to help you fulfill your responsibility fully. There is nothing wrong with seeking outside help when you see that your sales need an extra boost. An outsourcing company is an excellent way to get useful tips that will directly apply to your specific business or industry.

Setting up a sales appointment with a potential client can be a tricky process. Most sales professionals will tell you that the hardest part of their job is getting sales appointments set up. This makes perfect sense. A well-seasoned and professional sales person will have developed skills that are essential to convincingly sell when sitting face to face with a potential client. But, their skills will do them little justice when it comes to setting up appointments and getting into contact with the appropriate people. This process may be costing you money and you may be missing out on making new sales.

There are other avenues to explore when it comes to sales appointment setting. Your company could decide to employ its own staff solely dedicated to setting up appointments over the phone and then sending your trusted sales reps out for the meeting. Many businesses have tried this method and have been disappointed with the results. Hiring your own appointment setters are not always the best solution. First of all, they need to be supplied with lists of potential qualified clients that meet specific requirements. If you can not furnish this list then they will just be blindly making phone calls and getting nothing but a bunch of secretaries on the other end of the line. This method will certainly put you on the road to another dead end.

You can either pay a company to generate lists of sales leads for you or you could turn your entire sales appointment setting responsibility over to an outsourcing company that can provide you with the results that you are looking for. The outsourcing company will generate a list of new potential clients and find markets that you never knew existed. Then their trained telesales professionals will be able to get into contact with prospective clients that will be excited about hearing about your products and services and they will be ready and receptive to your sales professionals when they show up for the meeting.

Don’t leave the tedious task of appointment setting to your sales people. They should devote their time to going out and meeting with potential clients instead of sitting on the phone all day trying to get a hold of someone within a company that has the authority to make purchases. Your sales personnel will thank you and you will also be impressed by the increase in the number of appointments that you will see.

Setting up sales appointments can be a tedious and mundane task. Most sales professionals would rather spend their time schmoozing with potential clients and boasting about how great their company’s products or services are than having to spend their day making phone calls in order to set up appointments. And this is totally acceptable. Sales professionals need to be confident conversationalists that are well-versed when it comes to the art of selling. But trying to get them to sit at their desk all day making phone calls to set appointments will be a complete and total waste of their time and their talent.

A good sales person is an artist. They can paint a picture in a potential customer’s mind that will envision all of the wonderful things that are associated with using your company’s products or services. This is their niche, their specialty. Unfortunately though, their skills will be wasted by forcing them to set sales appointments. Unless you have developed the hottest product of the century, chances are that there aren’t a lot of potential clients calling you to learn more about your products or services. It is your responsibility to get the word out about the products that you sell and the services you provide.

You will have to figure out a way to keep your sales professionals happy and allow them to do what they do best while finding an alternate method to setting up sales appointments. You could hire a team of appointment setters but then you will also have to take into account that you will have to hire, train, and provide office space and support to these new associates. If this in just not practical for your business, you should turn to a company that can provide you with outsourced appointment setters.

Outsourcing for your business needs has become a great solution for many businesses across the country. These savvy business owners know that they leave their delivery needs up to a delivery company, so why wouldn’t it make sense to leave their appointment setting needs up to a company that specialized in appointment setting. Just because you own a business does not mean that you should be responsible for every minute aspect. Not only is it perfectly acceptable to outsource for some sales needs, but it is also financially smarter. You can save yourself time and money by outsourcing and you will see much better results.

Sales staffing is not one of the easiest parts of running a business. In all honesty, it is probably one of the least favorite parts of your job. After all, you went into business because you wanted to develop a product or a service. You wanted to spend your time working with your product’s development team or the engineers making your product or service the best that it can be. Sales staffing was probably an after thought, a required task that must be completed in order to survive the business world, much like filing your taxes and compiling expense reports.

If you are not a trained human resources coordinator than sales staffing may be an even harder task. How will you know which applicants will have your company’s best interest in mind and be as enthusiastic about your products or services as you are? It is hard to tell from a resume how capable a sales rep will be once they are entrusted to sell for your business. And if your sales team is underperforming would you even know? You went into business for a specific reason and chances are that it wasn’t because you knew a bunch of top-notch sales executives. But you need high quality salespeople if you want your business to succeed. The question is, where can you find the right sales professionals without having to sacrifice your time and other resources?

Luckily there are some sales staffing options out there that will require a minimal effort from you. There are sales consulting companies that can provide you with a fully staffed and professional sales team that have a proven track record of success. These companies will do all of the leg work for you. They will go through the resumes from potential job candidates, perform interviews, and hire the best applicants. Then they will also be responsible for the training of the new hires and their performance reviews. You won’t have to spend another second of your time concerned about staffing your sales department.

And once your sales department has been fully trained and staffed, they will be monitored by a professional sales manager that will provide you with all of the reports and pertinent information that you need from your sales team.

My company was having an incredibly difficult time in sales appointment setting. It seemed as though my call center had hit a brick wall in generating any viable sales appointments. The appointments that they were setting were not good leads at all. In fact, I had two members of my sales team quit because they were so disappointed with the poor quality of the appointments that they were going on. They insisted that the sales meetings were not even scheduled with the appropriate representatives from the company. This news was very unsettling for me and my also for my company. I knew I had to come up with a solution fast.

On one of my golf outings I brought up the topic to some of my friends. One of them suggested that I look into an outsourcing company in order to find out if outsourcing my sales appointment setting call center would be a good option. In all honesty, I wasn’t very knowledgeable about the services that sales outsourcing companies provided. I knew a few companies that I did business with employed them, but I did not know how the process worked. I decided to get in touch with one of the business owners that I knew who used the services of an outsourcing company and get his opinion.

I was surprised to find out that my business associate had been employing the services of an outsourcing company for several years. He claimed to be thoroughly pleased with the sales results that they procure. In fact, he estimated that business continues to grow at a rate of at least five percent every year. I was very intrigued by the conversation but I needed to talk with an outsourcing company for myself to find out what they could do with my circumstances. I was incredibly pleased with my sales team, they were phenomenal. On the other hand, my sales appointment setting phone team was failing miserably.

I contacted an outsourcing company immediately and was thoroughly impressed by the representative I spoke with. The outsourcing company would be happy to employ appointment setters on behalf of my company that would be responsible for generating high quality leads on a regular basis. My sales staff could continue going out and closing the deals successfully while the outsourcing company found new leads and set up the appointments. I could not have been happier with the arrangement.
