Jeffrey Purtell, Vice President of Recruiting & Senior Sales Manager

Jeffrey is the Vice President of Recruiting for Acquirent and is charged with growing the division, handling all client engagements, managing the recruiting staff and executing Acquirent’s proven Sales Recruiting Process. Jeffrey has experiences across a broad range of disciplines that provide a unique view and understanding of the sales talent Acquirent seeks for its client companies.

His career started at Global American Inc., an industrial computer manufacturer, where he spearheaded the sales process and was responsible for $1m in new business in his first year and a half out of college. Next, with American Income Life Insurance (a subsidiary of Torchmark Corporation, TMK), his track record of success and agency leading production led to his promotion to Master General Agent (MGA) within ten (10) months of hire. In this role, Jeffrey solidified his career path, excelling and recognizing his strength and natural leadership qualities. As an MGA, Jeffrey recruited, trained and managed a team of 30 sales agents and maintained one of the lowest turnover ratios in the state. After reaching the apex of his path there, Jeffrey moved to Regional Manager for Meyer Products and Swenson Spreaders, a privately held world-class truck equipment manufacturer. In this role, he managed multiple channels of distribution, handled all client relationships, executed marketing and positioning efforts, acted as an advisor to the executive committee and shaped sales programs and policies. Through his efforts, sales and market penetration increased in New England 20% year over year within 12 months.

Growing up on the east coast, Jeffrey attended Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts before receiving his BA in Economics from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. He is still an active member of both school’s through his local alumni organizations.
