Prior to joining the team at Acquirent, Brittany was living in Tanzania, East Africa where she was the Sales and Marketing manager of a safari company. After nearly three years of selling safaris and covering all aspects of PR and marketing to get folks up Mount Kilimanjaro and out in the Serengeti, she felt the return call of her “sweet home Chicago.” Luckily for us, Brittany followed her call and began her career at Acquirent as a Sales Executive. Her natural drive and ability to handle any task thrown her way was quickly recognized. It was her innate desire to take on more responsibility and willingness to wear multiple hats that led to her promotion to Recruiting and Marketing Manager. Her exceptional people skills paired with keen intuition and business savvy have contributed to her continued growth in this role.
Brittany graduated cum laude from Loyola University with degrees in Theater, Sociology and Peace Studies. An avid traveler and lover of adventure, her summers are spent racing sailboats on Lake Michigan and her winters are spent planning her next trip. She raised over $13,000.00 for underprivileged students in Tanzania through her “Children of Patandi” fund and is an active volunteer with the Marillac House in Chicago, which gives aid to lower income children and families on the West Side, and will be running the 2007 Chicago Marathon in October in support of their services.
